Global Project Leaders Forum 2008
More details In July 2008, Laureus hosted our first ever Global Foundation Project Leaders Forum that brought together individuals from across Laureus' key global projects for a three-day planning workshop to determine how best the Foundation can begin supporting its projects in way that go beyond just funding. This booklet briefly outlines some of the outcomes from these discussions and in particular looks at the essential ingredients needed for a successful sport for development programme. In addition we seek to highlight some of the gaps and challenges faced in understanding the impact of sport on individuals and communities and ensuring quality delivery on the ground. |
