PruHealth was launched in the UK market in October 2004 as a joint venture between Discovery and UK insurer Prudential in response to a growing need for consumer-directed private medical insurance products. PruHealth’s Vitality programme offers a wide choice of activities and partners that will motivate people of all ages to become healthier.

The partnership will further enable charitable projects that the Laureus Foundation supports in the United Kingdom to continue to grow and flourish, while Laureus World Sports Academy Members and Ambassadors will provide motivational coaching to PruHealth clients to help improve the fitness and wellbeing of the nation, through the PruHealth Vitality programme.
